Born just outside of Chicago, my design journey began in early childhood, where I eagerly delved into creating jewelry, designing clothing, and turning my bedroom into a vibrant canvas of imagination. These formative experiences laid the groundwork for my formal education, which led me to earn an Associate Degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Polimoda in Florence, Italy.
My professional path has taken me through the dynamic fashion scenes of New York and Italy. I have had the privilege of contributing to Barami and Demetrios Bridal and apprenticing with European designers Mauro Taliani and Pierre Gerrudi. A memorable highlight was presenting a collection to the Aristocratic Corsini family.
Upon returning to the U.S., I channeled my creative energy into Hollywood’s film and television industry, all while continuing to design jewelry in my spare moments. With the encouragement of friends and colleagues, I utilized my network in New York and Los Angeles, leading to my jewelry being seen on television, red carpets, and magazine covers. This recognition inspired the creation of my label, Jorie Breonn, known for its simple yet meaningful approach to costume and fine jewelry.
Today, my love for travel infuses my designs with a global perspective. Each journey brings new ideas and cultural influences into my work. I am passionate about crafting designs that are both stylish and impactful, and I am excited to share my creative journey and inspirations with you.
